Lead Team Vacancy at The C3 Church

The C3 Church is a multi-site church with 1000 worshippers on Sundays, the equivalent of a 20 full-time staff team, and an annual income of over £1,000,000.

We are recruiting leaders for one key ministry posts, the Operations Pastor. They will be part of the Lead Team who lead and oversee the work of C3.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset with a focus on executing the church’s vision, and a passion for developing leaders to facilitate growth.

We are looking for a passionate leader, who believe that the church is the hope of the world, who are committed to working in team and who possess a “whole house” perspective.

The post requires a strongly developed “can-do” mentality and an ability to embody and champion the culture and values of The C3 Church.

The post is strategic in nature, working with and through leaders, equipping and empowering them to fulfill their God-given destiny.

The Operations Pastor

The primary role is to lead and empower the Operations, Finance and Centre Management teams, to ensure that the organisational processes, staffing (including volunteers), and the financial processes of the church, across all locations, are sufficient and robust enough to effectively and efficiently deliver the church’s vision.

The role involves developing and reviewing the church’s processes, procedures and policies to ensure that they are compliant with all legal requirements expected of the church. Additionally, the role includes the oversight of the management and maintenance of The C3 Centre, including our coffee shop: Coldhams Coffee.

The Operations Pastor will oversee the provision of a central support service to the numerous ministry teams. The role also involves ensuring that financial and data systems, operational processes and procedures are supportive of all church locations, including Church Online and the Bury St Edmunds location.

The post has a strong HR role, including the recruitment of staff, and the oversight of issues relating to staff welfare and the provision of timely and accurate reports in order to monitor the operational and financial progress of the church.

This is a post is key to ensuring that the ministries of C3 are effective and efficiently delivered.

Hours: 40hrs per week
